Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 26, 2026
Our Commitment
MappaIQ is committed to making our website and application accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard commonly referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
What We Do
- Use semantic HTML and descriptive labels so assistive technologies can interpret the interface.
- Support keyboard navigation, and allow panels and dialogs to be dismissed with the Escape key.
- Aim for sufficient color contrast and readable text sizes.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful non-text content.
Known Limitations
Some interactive map features rely on visual, pointer-based interaction that can be difficult to convey through assistive technology alone. We are actively working to improve these areas. If a map-based task is not accessible to you, please contact us and we will help you accomplish it another way.
Feedback & Assistance
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on MappaIQ, or need information provided in a different format, please contact us at hello@vedennius.com. Please describe the issue and the page or feature involved, and we will make reasonable efforts to respond promptly and provide the information or functionality you need.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review new features for accessibility and welcome feedback that helps us improve the experience for all users.
