Add the connector
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste https://mappaiq.com/api/mcp. Or add MappaIQ from the connector directory.

Sign in
Claude opens MappaIQ's sign-in. Sign in or create a free account; no API key is needed. Claude only gets your own account's data.

Ask
Try "List my maps" or "Search my comps over 5 acres in Denton County". Claude asks before running anything that changes or publishes data.

What Claude can do

Read your maps: list_maps, get_layers, list_map_folders, search_comps, get_comp_detail, analyze_comps, filter_by_date, get_shares, navigate_to.

Edit your maps: add_comp, bulk_add_comps, import_file, add_zone, update_comp, bulk_update_comps, delete_comps, flag_comp, set_callout, set_custom_field, bulk_set_custom_fields, set_logo, create_map, rename_map, create_map_folder, move_map_to_folder, create_layer, rename_layer, move_layer.

Share and export: get_comp_links (a live link per pin that opens without an account), generate_file (Excel, CSV or PDF) and generate_bov (a broker opinion of value draft from your comps).

Listings: find_listings, add_listing, update_listing, confirm_listings and close_listing keep the listings you publish on the Marketplace current.

Marketplace: list_public_maps, search_public_listings and get_public_listing search listings other brokers have published; express_interest emails the listing broker for you and report_listing flags a bad listing. search_places looks up a business or address.

Every tool is annotated: read tools are marked read-only, and tools that remove data are marked destructive, so your client can confirm them with you first.

Connector questions

Which plans include the connector?
All of them, including the free Basic plan. Plan limits such as the pin count still apply.
How does sign-in work?
OAuth. Claude sends you to MappaIQ to sign in, and MappaIQ gives Claude a token for your account only. Disconnect the connector in Claude to revoke it. Other MCP clients can use a private account key from "Connect an AI assistant" in the app.
What data does the connector see?
Your own maps, layers, pins and listings, plus listings that other brokers have made public on the Marketplace. It can't reach anyone else's private maps. Nothing is shared with other users unless you make a share link or publish a map.
Does MappaIQ keep my Claude conversations?
No. MappaIQ only receives the tool calls Claude makes. For analytics it records which tool ran, how long it took and which model called it, never the arguments or results. See the privacy policy at mappaiq.com/privacy.
Which clients work?
Claude (web, desktop and mobile), Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and any client that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP.
